The state of Sikkim, in India’s north-eastern region, isn’t exactly a tourism hotspot. However, it should be. Visitors will find that the state has a lot to offer. You will be at a loss for words to adequately convey its natural beauty. Beautiful hotels and scenery can be found in towns like Gangtok and Pelling, ensuring a wonderful vacation.
However, the absence of infrastructure, particularly in areas like North Sikkim, makes the voyage difficult. If this makes you nervous, skip North Sikkim and instead visit Gangtok and Pelling on your Sikkim tour, or go for a journey to Ladakh, India (similar panoramas, better infrastructure).
